The cancellation is immediate, but the money is not.
- Your seat is released instantly and cannot be recovered.
- Any refund is returned to the original payment method, typically in 2-4 weeks.
- Nothing is reported to medical schools — a cancelled exam is not an attempt and not a void.
- You can register for a future date right away, paying the $355 standard fee again.
Previously paid reschedule fees are never refunded, even if you later cancel the exam.
